So I have met with a psychologist and he recommended that I get a hobby to help with some of the anxiety that I just cannot seem to shake. After mulling it over for a few days, I have decided to write a blog. I'm not sure what the focus of this blog will be, but I figured that I have to start somewhere, so why not let it flow.
I have recently subscribed to "The Pioneer Woman" and other blogs about things that interest me such as organization (Iheartorganizing) and finger nails (lynderella and let them have polish).
I plan to have this blog be more about my life than one specific topic, but we shall see where it leads.
Thanksgiving this year was wonderful. My mother and stepfather, Denise and Fred, along with my brothers, Jet and Will, came up to VA to visit us. We had a very nice time visiting and catching up as well as seeing some of the sights around town. When they left on Saturday, we headed down to Raleigh to visit with Tommy's family.
The holidays this year will be bittersweet as I will be away from my beloved mother. Tommy has to work on Christmas Eve and Christmas, so Harper and I will be roughing it by ourselves for the majority of the day. I think we will live though.
So long for now, I don't want to ramble too much on my first entry.
